First you have to clean it, of course. Many other hometalkers have posted projects painting patio floors (or in some cases this link shows inside floors) I searched hometalk for paint patio because it showed more ideas than paint concrete patio. I'm sure you'll find one that is concrete and will discuss paint type, but there are so many beautiful ones painted in designs that I wanted you to see as many as possible. You can do this!

Hope that helps.
Ditto! Clean first, power wash or dawn and a stiff bristle long handled push broom will do too. Make sure to purchase the correct paint too. Have fun!
there are paints specially formulated for cement. You can find it at a home improvement store. I know Sherwin Williams carries it as well
you need to jet wash it
They have cement paint add stains. Power wash it first, then use the product that gives you the look you like best
I'd power wash it with chlorine. ($5.00 bucks at Ace) Let dry. Fill/repair any cracks. Paint the patio with Rustoleum driveway/patio paint. It's great paint. I've done several carports and patios and they all have held up very well. Best of luck.
Sderienzo - Get the rubber boots out. Power wash the Patio very good. Purchase a good concrete Patio Paint. Follow manufacture's instructions. Patio beautiful in one Weekend. Pictures will help with receive helpful instructions. You-Tube videos will help also.
Try power washing it. You would be surprised how clean it will be.
