Is there a squirrel proof bird feeder that actually works?

Put a tall shepherd's hook far enough away from any trees, fences, etc. Install a baffle and then hang your feeder. I do not care about the squirrels as they are a part of nature too.
I saw one where they put a slinky on the pole, stretch it and attach it at the top, under the feeder, the squirrel just keeps sliding down it.

Feeding Birds by Keeping Squirrels Away
The slinky sounds hilarious! The dome cover works pretty well for us, but maybe our squirrels are lazy and opt out for easier food sources. 🤓
Yes, we have one and it is about 5 years old and is excellent. You can buy them on line or just go to your garden centre. The feeder is circular and we hang it on a tall medal stick. It holds approx 4 birds at a time and the system is based on weight. Since the squirrel's weight is heavy the holes that contain the feed shuts down and the squirrel can't get any food, but it is perfect for the birds. It attracts so many song birds, cardinals and blue jays. The squirrels don't go hungry as they munch on the craps that the birds drop below. Wish I knew the exact name or company that sells the feeder but I know that now there are many feeders like this for sale.
Droll Yankee is a good one. They are pricy but work.
No. I've tried everything. I bought a small animal live trap. Set it using sunflower seeds. I've sent 12 squirrels to new locations at least 5 miles away. This one was in a thunder storm before I had a chance to release it.
Check out the one I made. It works so well I put it on Hometalk.
