You can use clips to hang fabric. The ones pictures are $8/dozen at Bed Bath & Beyond.
cool. The easy way is to make " button" holes with a sewing machine. Use cloths pins to figure out the spacing...and use ribbon to tie them on the rod. you will need to keep the ribbon from fraying. Fray check is a good product and has a skinny applicator.
