I think it's maypop but not sure. It looks like it may produce some sort of flower.

It may be Passion Vine. If it is it will have unusual flowers, the ones on my vines look like they cane from outer space, and they can bear fruit. Mine only had one once. And if it is Passion Vine and you're in the subtropics, keep an eye on it so it doesn't overgrow other plants, etc.

It's morning glory. You might want to start corraling it now before it overtakes everything in your yard!

That's passion vine/maypop and it looks as though you may have some frittilary caterpillars munching on it. Lucky you! You're going to have gorgeous orange butterflies from this plant. No need to worry about the plant, they can take it. Be aware that they send roots far away from the mother plant and you will have this vine popping up in unexpected places.

It's passion flower! Ive had it for years it blooms purple! The flowers have the scent like perfume! In the spring caterpillars are what eat the leaves on mine but I guess when they turn into butterflies the vine gets prettier! Hope this help you!

thanks! I can't wait till it blooms and for the butterflies! I'm so thrilled! any thoughts on if I should try to get it to climb some sort of trellis? I don't want to damage it but it seems to be wrapping around my azaleas and roses.

fyi may pop can be very invasive. Grows underground, and can shoot up vines 10 ft away. I love it, but I have to pull it up constantly.
