the hardware stores will replace screens for next to nothing.
It's not difficult, just a little bit tedious. Here's how:

Do you just need to replace the screen or the frame and the screen. Most home improvement stores and even Walmart have the necessary items, basically screen material of you choice, new rubber to hold the screen in and the tool to push in the rubber. It is not hard to do, although sometimes it can be hard to hold the tension on the screen, then you may need to have someone give you a hand on the first one. Once you do one, you will never forget, and it gets much easier after the first one.
a trip to the hardware store, a spline tool, rubber gasket and the screen. Take the old one with you so you know how much screen you need and the right size spline to hold it in. Spline tool looks like a pizza cutter, but don't confuse the two. hardware guy can help you. Even near Cleveland!
time consuming but not hard. You will need a table to set the screen frame on while working on it. You will need 1red brick. You will need window spline. Get the roll with various widths. You will need a spling tool. Looks like a plastic pizza cutter. You will also need a small width flat screw driver. Take the screen off the window.
Put it it on the table. Arround the screen there are channels...the rubber gasket aka spline needs to come out. Remove old screen. Use as template for new. Add about an inch wider that what you have.
Position on the new screen over the old frame. Set the red brick in the middle of it.
cut a piece of spline for top. Start at middle work to sides stuffing the spline in the channel.do the bottom next...same way middle out to sides. Then do sides. Middle to top...mid to bottom.
remove brick. Trim the screen if needed. Put back where you found it.
When i I bought this place...all screens had rips and tears. Rescreened 7 windows.
no, just a hardware store. Most of them know how. Or leave it and for a few dollars, they will do it for you. In Cincinnati there is a company that comes to your home and repairs it on the spot. Look in your phone book for re screening mobile unit. Surely they have one.
If you are talking about a screen where the frame is in great shape all you need is a screening spliner (available where you will buy the screening) and am exacto knife to cut the excess screen materil once you have the screening material in place. When you buy your supplies ask them to show you how to do the job. It is simple. If the entire screen needs to be replace you can easily make it yourself by buying the need material that often comes in a kit.
