Sprinkle about 1/2 c of Borax ( 20 Mule Team) to the bottom of the tub. Add your bleach as you usually do. Use hot water and dial "'Normal" for the wash cycle. Add the " Extra Rinse" cycle. Run. Borax doesn't dissolve easily so be sure all the Borax is completely rinsed out of the clothes, otherwise the heat from the dry will bond with the Borax in those areas with little clumps. Also, clothes (colored, whites, delicates, etc.) can be 'presoaked' by spritzing water on spot and sprinkling a bit of Borax on it, then spritzing again. Give it 30 minutes, then wash. It's so easy, really, and the results are wonderful. Just rinse!
