Jennie - Garbage bags, saw dust, and dispose of in the garbage.
Pet MD says flushing is the best way to go (without the bag, of course). If you can't do that for some reason, then bagging and throwing in the garbage.

WE bag and throw out....with two big dogs we would gave had more holes in the back yard than holes!
@Peg, I agree. @Jennie, if you have three big dogs, I don't think you could keep up with the burial. And dogs love to dig in fresh earth. And you might have to dispose of each dog's poop in a different flush. Thank you for caring. Best wishes 😇
Yep...flushing is the best. Or they actually make a little gadget that is buried partially into the ground in your yard. You dump doggie poop into it, and I assume it works sorta like a septic system. Could probably google doggie waste disposal system or something similar for more info....
I double line a kitty litter bucket, or if you use the giant dog food bags, then I put out with the trash, but he leaves my bucket behind.
We bag and add to the garbage. Our town does a second can for recyclables. If your area uses a company that hand picks through the trash I'd think twice about adding the poop.
Thanks for all your hints, we have a septic tank and my husband is very cautious about too many flushes!!! The sawdust and bags sound good for us.
ehats the difference between that and baby poop??
nothing other than it's a bunch of by product that is wasted and takes forever to break down.
Just leave it in the yard. Let it decompose naturally. What we do with our two cats and dogs
