you can add a sail cloth, not really cheap but cheaper than building a structure or even using lattice
if you don't care about color choice you could also find outdoor fabric at Joan's, michels etc on the clearance rack and sew a sail yourself

You may have to check the rails first, and make sure they are not in need of sanding, before you paint. Is so, sand the rails and paint first, then continue to paint the floor. To make it easier on yourself, you may want to clean the bottom floor, and then paint. Try to do this on a breezy day, to help the paint dry dry faster. Best wishes, J.
Hi Jean, Here's a link to a product called Sunshade. They make all sorts of shades and sails with it, but this is just the fabric and is pretty inexpensive to buy it this way! https://www.sportsmansguide.com/product/index/castlecreek-sun-screen-fabric-15039-x-6039?a=1148220
You're double wide is made of wood and should have studs every 16" on center. So, You should be able to find stud to hook it to!
Good luck!
Add some posts to the deck, and attach a shade sail to them. Koolaroo (they have a website) makes some I saw for sale (I think at Costco).
thanks everyone for their comments.
