I have used Brasso and a very fine steel wool on mine. Cleans up very well, but unless you seal the brass after cleaning, this will need to be done every few months. It appears we have very similar door knobs and plates.
Hi Deb, my Mom always used ketchup (tomato sauce) to clean her brass ornaments. Squirt some on a clean cloth and rub all over and then wipe off with a clean cloth and buff.
