The leaves will fall where they may. It may be more effective to use a leaf blower rather than a broom to banish the leaves from your deck.
I have the same issue and just keep blowing them out with a leaf blower.
I have that problem every fall as the leaves fall off of trees. I use a leaf blower.
Sorry there is no solution when every has trees.
There is no way to get around the leaves unless you put a net under the canopy of the tree to catch them. That would be a lot more work to empty than a minute with a blower.
You might reduce your problem if you thin the branches out.
