I can't think of anyway but to stop feeding your birds and there must be something they are buring like maybe nuts.
I agree with Sam...:) We built a large squirrel feeder platform on a tree past our deck and it gets lots of use. ...we found that giving them an area has kept them away from the bird feeder. :)
