Do I have this question right? You kitchen is full of clothes? We need a better idea of the space you actually have. EJL.

There are hangers available that hold several garments in tiers and shoe racks to put on the floor or wall; check discount or home goods stores.

I have SAME problem, i find buying portable DIY hanging racks the best, I have about 4 at moment. They do the job ,are sturdy and you can always just throw a sheet over racks for protection. and even put a perfumed scent sachet in between clothes.

...and shoes can be placed at the bottom of the racks.

I have an antique trunk that I use for seasonal clothes. Every spring and fall I change them out. Shoes go in a large flat tote under the bed.

Many ideas! Use under bed storage bins for shoes or bulky items, over the closet door shoe storage, over the closet door hanging jewelry box. Think floor-to-ceiling storage. Use fabric bins and roll your clothes up rather than fold them to make the most of the room. Fabric cube storage can go to 6' or so or higher (secure to walls) and use a sturdy bench or safe chair to get to the top ones for out of season or seldom worn clothes.

I glued on chalkboard painted tags so I can change the label of what's in the drawers as needed. These match my bedspread. I have a very small 1970's bedroom so needed floor to ceiling storage.

I have a smaller version of this on the floor of my closet for shoes, out of season items.

Nora, neat looking storage and matching bedspread!! I have seen at home stores, but not used, for extra clothes storage, racks with fabric covers/zipped to close.
