Getting harder for me to do steps. Want to eliminate entrance steps and if possible, interior steps.
buy one in the keys! Just kidding. Landscaping in a tropical climate is what makes a home look tropical. If you live in a cold climate zone your only option is to install faux tropical plants. Trust me you won’t like the look in mid February.
Put in white tile flooring and ceiling fans.
Use lots of green and green plants. Our Goodwill has lots of green plants at a good price. Go green and copy the colors displayed in pictures you like the pinks, oranges etc. Find a picture online that you like and go for it using those colors.

There are many palm like plants that you can grow indoors with out having too much light, also many very realistic artificial ones that would be larger. I you go artificial, look up the flowers that would be the tropical types you would like and group them with the palms and put artificial flowers in the pots with the palms. You could go with some live, but those that need a lot of light will need a grow light, so they will need to be grouped more or less together.
Large tropical indoor plants in large pots. Botanical accents - like pillows, or throws.
