Is the dresser wood? Meaning does the wood grain show already? If its raw wood you can get a white stain and wipe it off once it is colored. Or thin down a water based paint and do the same thing. I got a white washed appearance on the wood I put above my windows using spray paint because it was so old and dry that it sucked it up. I had planned to do the treatment anyway, but for once it was virtually effortless!
