Wash them good with some bleach and water. Put a good coat of primer on them or just spray paint with Rustoleum paint for plastic. I would put a couple of coats on them.
what kind of primer to use?
Just wash it like you do with dishes and let dry. I like to use a prime coat, they spray paint, then a seal coat, if necessary.
If they are plastic.......wash and seal with plastic spray paint........then paint your color with a brush.....alwasy worked for me!
Scrub with steel wool soap pads and cleanser.
I would just wipe them down with vinegar and then I'd spray them with a good paint/ primer.
Clean them well and paint with paint and primer in 1. Rustoleum makes a good product.
