You probably would have to give it a prime coat and then top coat with the color of your choice.
I think the paint and primer in one that Valspat sells, you can buy it at Lowe's! It has really good coverage! I'm sure it will take a few coats tho!
After the first coat of primer, if you still see red or pink shadows, give it another coat of primer. Then the color you want in a couple of coats. If the color does not include sealant, then seal it with another coat. 😇
kilz oil base paint would or the only thing to cover the red.
Start with a really good primer and at least 2 coats maybe three and draw for enough time to allow you to see if it is a completely white room then the color you choose should be the color you get.
