Should screen door and front door be the same color?
I have a wooden screen door painted black to match the trim. The front door is barn red but it sort of disappears behind the screen door. Should they match?
I think that's a personal preference. I have mostly white doors with white trim, but have experimented with color paint blocks on the door with matching color on trim... it looks very inviting. Give it a go and see what you think!
They do not have to be. Depends on the look you are trying to achieve.
I have dark espresso doors, almost black and white trim. You can haved different coloured trim in different rooms that close off...it's your choice! If you don't like it, paint it over.
Just me, but I'd paint the trim all one color. Doors in and into a single room would be the same color. You could "color code doors with a specific function", ie, bedroom, closet, to outside, to inside, why? I don't know. :-)
It's up to you! Good luck!
