Garden-we have problems with the lawn.

Recently moved in 9mths ago the lawn is always wet. Checked the main soakaway pipe which is not blocked. Anyone recommend the best way to deal with this soak away it's known as French drain.

Since there are supposedly french drain in place, my guess the yard was never graded properly to begin with and the french drains were put in as a fix which obviosly is not working as it should. If it were me, I would call in a landscape architect to see what else can be done. Hopefully without losing everything and regrading the entire yard.
