no. never. the rubber seal on the lid compresses to the top of the glass jar. that's what makes the seal. once compressed, the rubber won't expand again.
No, please don't. There is a type of canning lid made specially for reuse though.

The Amish women near me have done it for years. They just boil to sterilize and go again. I have never done it but they tell me it works for about 3 times per lid.
No you shouldn't. The rubber seals your jars to prevent spoilage. When you first use it, you put it in hot water to"vulcanize it". or soften it to to seal properly. The rubber is not designed to be reused. If you do, all the work you put in to can and process will be for nothing. Your food will spoil much more quickly and it's not worth the small price of a new box of lids.
You can re-use the rings, but not the actual lid.
reuse the rings, but do not reuse the lid portion. When you can, it is important to get a full seal or you run the risk of botulism...a used inner could prevent the seal
