My dog threw up when I was gone for a couple hours his medicine. how do I get the yellow stain out of the carpet from his medicine

Vacuum really well; use a spray bottle with 1 to 1 ratio of water and vinegar. Don't make it soaking but do get down to the webbing. Let dry. Repeat. This works well for me on an ivory rug that's in the family room. (What was I thinking?!)
I always use strong Oxiclean solution and a toothbrush.
Try Ocyclean.
Dawn dish soap and peroxide. Have 5 German Shepherds and get the occasional accident. Works every time.
use some white vinegar on a wet cloth and a warm iron on top, it helps bring the stain to the surface and penetrate it out from the carpet.
