INSTALLING A NEW FRONT DOOR

Question

My home has the original door with a 12' side glass. I would like to replace the door and need to know the easiest way to measure and install it. Additionally I would like recommendations on replacing the side glass (75'L X17W'). I have limited skills, however I would like to tackle this project if it is not to difficult. Please help.

Measure the height and width of the door. If you are only replacing the door itself, measure where the hinges are on the old door and put them in the same spot. Put the door up and put the hinge pins in place. Install door handle and dead bolt as directions tell you on the packaging of the new locks.
