Clean it! I use Murphy's Oil Soap, Bona products for floors, Scotts Liquid Gold and Old English products.
If the wood's been sealed with a high gloss sealer, an old trick is to use cheap vodka. Doesn't attract dust and really shines. If it's not been sealed with a high gloss sealer, good old paste wax will make it shine and not attract dust.
Start with Murphy's oil soap for cleaning, and this will make it shine. Next, use Wilbert's lemon oil to preserve the wood. Good Luck!
