using hot/warm water bath
Just a few suggestions I have from when my friends and I used to make our natural lip balms, and lotions. A double boiler ( think that's what it's called) or just a bowl with the wax, sitting in a pot with warm water. I've also used an oil/wax difuser (the kind you place the wax or oil in a little bowl on top and heat with a tea candle on the bottom.) Ive used my diffuser as a double boiler, I put water in the little bowl, and happened to have a smaller stone bowl (that I placed in the water,) that I used to gently melt some shea butter. Also, you can place it in a plastic zip lock or sanwich bag, and place that in warm water (I've seen eggs poached this way, I just don't like the idea of heat and plastic, even if it doesn't melt.) Hope that helps inspire experimentation!
