Do Citronella Begonias need to come in for the winter?

My question is do I need to dig up the Citronella plants in the ground to bring them in for the winter? I purchased a bunch of them thinking they would help deter the mosquitoes on and around our deck in the evenings. As it turns out, the Citronella Grass deters, the Begonia form just has a pleasant citrus like scent. I have a bunch potted on the deck and several in the ground along the front walk. The ones already in pots I thought I would bring in, but I don't know if I need to dig up the others, or perhaps cut the back.
