You should clean the top as soon as it cools off. Once it heats up again, it will scorch. Good luck!

Try Bar Keepers Friend . It's a powder non scratch cleaner. Sprinkle liberly, moist non scratch sponge with a little drop of dish detergent. Just use gentle and continued pressure. It ma take awhile....but it will come off. Wipe with moist towel and buff with soft towel.

Hi. I use magic erasers for my stove top. It will get rid of the ring.

I use magic erasers too but then I scrape the rest off with a straight edge razor blade. Looks like new!

Are you talking about a glass top stove?

I use oven cleaner. Be careful to target the spray just on the ring as it can peal paint.

Barkeepers friend works great. It cleans anything off a stove top.

soak a kitchen towel in warm/hot water and lay over top for an hour or so. Then use baking soda and scrub brush.
