You will probably not be able to do so without damaging the wood flooring, and how frustrating that someone would do that. I am thinking some sort of pry bar to break the flooring off, but the prep of cleaning off the dried glue is going to be a pain in the butt!
If you don't like it, might be better to cover iit rather than try to get it up. (You might not like the result after all the hard work is done)
