Use a tension rod
I need a better picture of what this is ?
is the rod adjustable slide it back a few inches . it has to sit just right in its wall holder. i had a battle with the shower curtain rod for the tub. wound up using rope caulk in a half circle under the shower curtain rod. it's not come down in 4 years.
if the piece is metal and not adjusting to your window frame...hack saw with a finer tooth blade.
Hi Michelle, You want to cap off the end of the rod so your hooks don't slide out. You could use cardboard or something ridged that won't pop out. It's supposed to have an end cap on it.
Hope this helps!
Looks like it also needs a bracket with a screw to prevent rod from popping out. Like this one.... https://www.walmart.com/ip/Rod-Desyne-Curtain-Wall-Bracket/191702730 usually these come with the rod, and also the decorative ends (finials). https://www.walmart.com/search/?query=curtain%20rod%20finials All these parts are sold in curtain rod sections of home stores, Walmart, etc. Be sure to measure the diameter of your rod.
Question for you, do your curtains have curtain hooks in them and is your rod a square rod and not a round rod?
