Ask at your local home improvement store.... if the paint on there is oiled based they will advise you on what you can use. Take a chip of the old paint with you it will save you money time and frustration.

It's probably an oil-based paint. A good oil-based paint will do the trick.

Very easy... use a ‘good’ cement & tile paint///mix well..(one can even produce their own colours of stunning difference: Do know your colour charts though:)
We have found with good wide brushes (& not rollers, as they will tear @ the paint), painting across ways & usually one one good coat is all thats required ( this does depend on how smooth looking one wants the floor), the results are quite lovely indeed.. best of all one only requires the floor to be nicely washed cleaned the day before the process//allow proper drying time:)
