I don't quite understand your question. Are you asking if you still need to use centipede grass to redo your yard? I'm not sure what you mean by too. It's my understand that centipede grass is good to use in your area. If you want a different type of grass, I would go to a local nursery or landscaping company and get some other suggestions.

I live in the Lowcountry of SC, and have centipede grass. Thought I'd never love it, but I do! It's slow growing, and great for our subtropical climate. Nice in our sandy soil, and really doesn't get that winter brown over like it does farther north. It's a tough grass, but does have its advantages such as great erosion control and not have to mow as often. Just my opinion. Good luck with your make over!
