Pour some baking soda down your sink, followed by some vinegar. You will see and hear it fizzle. Leave it alone for 15-30 min. or so, then rinse it with hot soapy water. If that doesn't work, try it a second time. If it still doesn't work, try working with a plunger, (not with soda & vinegar though) If you still can't get it running try a product like 'drain-O'. There are other products of a similar type in your grocery store. Just don't try to rush it and give each method time to work. If after all of this, it's still clogged, check for an unclog valve in your pipes as a last resort. The next step is to call a plumber. Actually, you can do this at any time when you're tired of fooling around with it. I wish you the best in solving your problem.

There is this tool, a long plastic strip with barbs on each side it cost about two dollars sold all over. Run this down your drain and slip back out, sometimes it might stick a little but just tug it will brake lose. Spoiler alert, sometimes you wish you didn't pull it out Yuk ! The good news is your drain will work again
