Countertop is separating from vanity in bathroom. How do I fix this?

What can I do about my sink that separated from the countertop?
My bathroom vanity sink has separated from the granite countertop. Any suggestions on how to re-attach? Should I call a plumber or a granite installer?
How wide is the crack....can it be caulked? Gluing it might work but how would you hold it against the wall while the glue dries?
As you are a renter, I recommend you show it to your landlord. If you fix it and there is a problem, you don't want to end up being blamed for damages.
In a rental house, you will need to contact your landlord first. It is best if they are ones that fix it. But generally, if it is not too big of a crack, it can be filled with caulk and then the caulk eventually painted the wall color to blend in with the wall.
What you're describing is a major repair and should be the landlord's responsibility.
