The paint o use always turns powdered and comes off on my cloths. Help signed painting every year.
Rustoleum for metal
Rustolem makes a great outdoor spray paint for outdoor furniture! Make sure to scrap all the old loose paint off first or sand it down before re applying new paint
Probably a Rustoleum. If you ask at Home Depot or Lowe's they should be able to guide you. Weather really takes a toll on outdoor furniture. I don't think anything will be forever.
Rustoleum makes Engine/high temp spraypaint in a very limited number of colors that's impervious to just about everything, including sunlight.
otherwise? their old-fashioned brush-on finishes are the toughest - they will fade over the years, but I have not had a problem with them 'chalking' like you describe.
I love the Rustoleum spray paints, it goes on quickly and easily, wears well and is inexpensive and little prep. My favorite for outdoor furniture is the hammered metals. I also use it on my metal screen security screen and it makes it look brand new. If you cover your furniture for the winter the finish will last longer
Rustoleum or Krylon
Farm equipment paint seems to last longer. Colors are limited if I remember correctly. My items have been painted for years and are now in need of repainting.
Absolutely Rust-Oleum exterior paint for metal. I'd sand, clean, let dry. Flip over spray the underneath first, flip right side up and spray the entire seat. I'd suggest several light coats so as not to spray thick layers of paint and avoid drips and runs. Best of luck.
