Helli! If you are trying to get rid of those vases, glass is recyclable and you could take them to your recycle center. Otherwise if you want to repurpose your vases, here are some ideas on what to do with them :

what kind of vases? Picture would help.
You make a table scape for the upcoming season. If you have a lot then you can make divide them but not equal numbers odd numbers 3-5 you get the idea. Or if you have a large table or mantle then just reuse them. What I was getting at before was that if you had a large number you could make several different ones and reuse each group during that season. So here on this site you can find ways to paint insides if you like that look and then assemble your scape and the paint will help cover what you use inside to hold everything together. Or you could mogpog and apply cut outs of different scenes that all tell a story deer, leafless treesa house with a chimney that appears to have smoke coming out of it, evergreens and then some snowflakes with silver glitter then on a white felt DIY or scarf runner place a battery operated candle in each one a few sprigs of evergreens from the store of if you have an evergreen on your property "borrow " some and the smell would be heavenly. OK place the candles in each vase and the sprigs on the runner. Sorry ,I forget you can't finish my thoughts. Anyway you get the general idea, don't worry about shapes and sizes the more different they are the more choices you have. Rounded bulb shapes remind me of fall and pumkins, tall can be winter, you decide. Think outside of the box and you will see all of those vases are a blessing. They are just the starting point you make them into what your eye sees. Heck, you can just put glue on a paper plate and glitter on an other paper plate and do the rims like margaritas have and be done with it place a battery operated candle that's pretty and be done. So many ideas coming into my head and I can't come up with them when I need help, hahaha! Have fun!
I collect blue and white china so I just use my blue and white vases either to hold flowers/greens/foliage or just to show them. Right now my collection of blue and white is displayed on a table by front door and also on a radiator cover in my d.r. I also have a collection in the basement that I was eyeing the other day, with the thought "how to use these" I get many things for free and it is tempting to take them all. I do not do anything to the vases except to enjoy them for themselves. Store what I can't show and then swap out the vases.
You could paint them with unicorn spit!
