I have used clear nail polish. need 3-4 coats
I am wondering if you are experiencing the same thing that car owners see on the headlight lenses of older cars. (Just go through a parking lot and look at the headlights and you will see what I mean.) I had this problem and solved it in two ways. The first way is over-kill for your solar lights, involving a soft cloth buffer attached to a drill, but the SECOND way just may do the trick. Use TOOTHPASTE! I used just plain old simple basic toothpaste from the dollar store. Just buff it on with a cotton ball, and rinse it off! Depending on how bad the yellow is, it may require some elbow grease, and it may not eliminate it entirely, but it definitely is an improvement! It was so bad that it was hard to drive at night. If a simple toothpaste solution doesn't work, please do go to an auto store and ask any of the guys behind the counter what works on headlights. They may have an even better solution! p.s. Manufacturers of the newer cars have formulated better plastic lenses for later models and you will not have this problem.
Thanks everyone.
Try cleaning with toothpaste. That works beautifully on headlights and my motorcycle odometer lens
