How to make a Copper shepards hook?

Thinking of trying to make copper hooks out of copper plumbing pipe. Will a conduit bender work for bending? For rigidity if the hooks are too flexible I may fill with concrete. Does concrete eat copper like it does aluminum?

Copper is a soft metal and putting cement in it not to sure about that either. If you are wanting the copper look and hope for the patina you can do that yourself. Paint shepherds hook copper and there is a patina paint that you can add after and paint that on it should give you the same effect. Good luck
For rigid copper you would need to heat to almost cherry red to bend it. Filling it with sand would prevent any kinks. Bending it without heating would just split it. There also is soft copper that comes in rolls that bends easily
