Easiest way to dig french drain?
This will be a "me" project. My husband is handicapped.
What is it? A covered trench usually filled with different sized gravel the collect and channel water percolating through the ground. the size in diameter will help determine the volume and the life of the drain ( tree roots will find and travel along them. Average life : 20 years Apx or was 30 years ago.
There are new products at home centers that are easier to install than filling a trench with corrugated drain pipe and gravel.
