Clothes pins can be decorated with paint, felt, ribbon, etc. into santas, nutcracker figures. etc. Popsicle sticks can be made into ornaments with glue, glitter, ribbon, paints, markers. Plain colored or clear ornaments could be painted and glittered, etc. You can sew up cloth ornaments, stuff them and let them decorate santas, gingerbread men, angels, etc. with fabric paint, puff paint. The ideas are endless, I hope this will help you think of even more!
Check on Pintrest... there are lots of ideas there.
Start with a gingerbread house, that takes time, and the kids will be tired, and go to bed early. Check with you local craft store, A.C.Moore, Michael's, or Hobby Lobby. Go early, because the'll run out of stuff as the days get closer to Christmas.
