Wrap Christmas paper around them and embellish! Cookies would be good in them too.

Great receptacle for any baked Christmas gifts. They might also work well for storing fragile Christmas ornaments. Wishing you well and Merry Christmas.
Barbara stutl er, Hello :) Well right off the top of my head I can tell you they make EXCELLENT cookie holders and who wouldn't love to get a container full of their favorite cookies wrapped up prettily with a bow on top with the recipe attached? OR some carmel corn with pecans or candy sprinkles or even with BOTH? LOL Anyway here is what I found in my own search for an answer to what sort of crafts from Lays stackable chip cartons can you make to give as Christmas gifts ;) Hope you find something you like, and thanks for asking HOMETALK for ideas :)
First of all, this idea uses a sontainer similar shape and type of material carton is made of but it still would be a great little gift for a toddler or preschool child: http://www.amandathevirtuouswife.com/2012/01/gerber-graduate-puffs-turned-bowling.html#.WdmVtFtSzIU

Why not use THIS link to do this to some LAYS instead of Pringles? >>>

Well I do hope this gives you some ideas to use, or gets your own creativity flowing so you can think of more to do :)
Start by putting Christmas wrap around them. For the kids, put some small toys, or for a girl some play lipstick, beads, barets, crayons loose, etc. Same for a boy, tiny cars, army men, wrapped small candy, small water gun, some of these gifts can be given to either child. The dollar store is where to shop. The adults, you have many choices. Wrapped candy an assortment of chocolates. Put a gift in the can wrapped up. Scarf, male or female, gloves, golf balls, lip sticks. You use your imagination, and you'll come up with many ideas.
You can decoupage them with paper napkins (Christmas ones!) and put cookies, etc. in them!
Use a long wooden spoon to help you line the clean canister with plastic wrap. Dip one end each of some Lays or Pringles in melted white or milk chocolate. Let them sit for a short time until the chocolate is set. You could also dip them in chocolate then sprinkles. Then gently stack the chips back in the canister, with a little plastic wrap between each one. You may only get a dozen chips in each canister, but this is a gourmet treat. Decorate the canister, or just wrap it really cute. Best wishes 😇💞
