I am painting cinder blocks. Do I apply a seal after the paint dries?

Must use a primer first.
If you are using masonry paint the instructions on the can should say. Acrylics will shed water, but likely peel as moisture comes through the cement. If you coat the entire block with a clear resin or acrylic it may last longer.
yes all masonary products need to be sealed.
