Try Bon-Ami - powdered cleanser that will not scratch. Make paste and rub until gone.

Use a liquid cleanser that's made for glass stovetops, and microfiber cloth so it won't leave threads. To make your own, make a paste of baking soda and peroxide, or water and borax. store in a labeled jar or bottle. A little, with some elbow grease, goes a long way. 😇💖

Buy stove cleaner for glass tops. It is white and kind of thick. Read instructions. It takes very little cleaner but lots of elbow grease. Just do a small area at a time with the scrub cloth. It will come off. Don't think if you use lots and let it soak it will work faster it doesn't. I cleaned my sister's stove

top which had not been cleaned in years and it now looks like new. She was

amazed. She now uses the cleaner once a week to keep her stove looking great. It also helps condition the glass so it is not so hard to keep clean. Hope this helps........

Once you get your stove clean.... avoid using a soapy cloth on your stove top.. they absorb grease and other stuff, and the soap residue will cook onto the stove top when the heat comes on... if you do use soap... remove the residue with Windex. etc. and clean paper towels

I keep a "razor paint scraper, a no scratch green scrubby, and Windex next to my stove. Before cooking anything, I give the stove top a quick wipe to remove anything that has landed on there since cooking last. Saves a lot of build up and heavy duty cleaning later.
