wood putty, sandpaper and stain or paint.
Is this a hollow core door?Is the damage a hole that has been knocked into it?
Usually interior doors are hollow core, so based on this if it is a scrape or gouge, use wood filler to fill then sand and repaint the door. If it has a hole in the door, you can cut a piece of cardboard about half to one inch bigger than the hole, pierce 2 small holes 1/2" apart in the centre and thread a thin piece of string or fishing line about a 12" long so both tails hangs out the front, bend in half then flatten out, put glue around the edge, then poke it through the hole and with your tails pull gently and hold so a bond takes between door and cardboard, this creates a backing for your filler to adhere to. Fill hole and feather out wood filler past the edge and let set. Trim off the tails, sand and repaint.
I think this will help
