CLR should remove it if it’s compatible with your type of counter top. Try a small amount in an inconspicuous spot first.

How bad? I just use a scrubbie sponge and dish soap on a tile countertop. Try CLR if you need something stronger.
Try Bon Ami or Barkeeper's Friend.

Hi Kim. What material is the counter. You will want to be careful not to scratch it. I would try vinegar, or WD40. Just make sure it won't ruin your counter tops.
