Pour some Dawn dish soap into the toilet and wait about 10 minutes, and then plunge again, it will usually allow the clog to go on down as it breaks up the surface tension between the water and clogging substance.
boil a kettle of hot water and leave it with white vinegar in the bowl for about 30 minutes and if that doesn't work get some Dr magic
Try boiling water by using it 2 or 3 times. Worked wonders for me.
Any caustic drain cleaner shouldnt be use in the toilet. The boiling water and dish detergent together, though, is usually very effective.
Pour one cup of dawn detergent in your commode and leave it sit overnight it really does work
I tried several suggestions for unclogging our toilet and the only thing that worked was a toilet auger I found at Walmart for about $5.00. It worked on the first try!
always remember boiling water IN a toilet can crack the bowl very easily...it's porcelain !!
Also...using boiling water in sinks etc can and will loosen the glue that is used in the connections. Didn't know that until the elbow in the basement came off completely !@! What a MESS !!!!!!
