What zone do you live in?
this certainly depends upon where you live. I live in Michigan and our transplant ”season” is pretty well over for the year.
It should be OK. Make sure you add a couple layers of mulch around it. If you have one of those cones, use that too. I live in zone 4 and roses do very well.
I don't know what zone you are in, but in most zones I would wait until next spring.
