I need a fabric stiffener that is weather resistant. Any ideas?
I created a fabric wreath and have tried two different brands of fabric stiffeners that have failed, any help appreciated.
I made a cheerful kitchen quilt window covering, to prevent air loss in the kitchen. I used a piece of black material for the back, and a printed one of pretty colors, for the inner piece, and layed a quilted material in between the layers. I put velcrow on the top and sides, for a good seal. This saved a lot of heat from escaping, and it was so very colorful. This is a suggestion, but go to your window, and measure that first, then fabric store, and go thru the remenents, and see what colors are the very brightest and cheerful. I would always make a extra one, so you can rotate them. Best wishes, J.
Find any materials you like to sew with or can do with handkerchiefs-and no sewing. Hang over rod corner point down and overlap across rod. Looks cute and so easy.
I made toppers throughout my kitchen using this tablecloth from Amazon: Maison d' Hermine Botanical Fresh 100% Cotton Tablecloth 60-Inch by 120-Inch. Then I made basket covers, placemats, etc. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this fabric. It is so bright and airy.
Lots of ideas in this link. Good luck.
