If you cover fresh urine with a thick layer of baking soda it will wick it out of the carpet. Check it in an hr and brush the wet BA into a dust pan and discard. Cover the spot with BS again and repeat in an hr. Repeat till the BS stays dry, then brush up and discard as much as you can. Vacuum and if there’s as stain wash with vinegar and water. Hydrogen peroxide is good to remove stains too. Wash poop stains with soap and water first, then peroxide if needed.

I use hydrogen peroxide on pet stains. Then I go over it with an enzyme product like Natures Miracle to remove pet pheromones.

Thank you. I appreciate your response. Other’s have mentioned the Natures Miracle, but without the peroxide. I will add that to my routine.

Try the new Clorox product called Pet Urine Remover. Great for other uses in bathrooms, and for caregivers. Read label carefully.
