What stores have you looked in?
Do search online for Thanksgiving decor and shop to your hearts desire!
I find mine when the Halloween things are out. But now, it would be difficult because Retail has moved onto Christmas and Black Friday thinking.
True! No money in it. Retailers all start setting up for Christmas even before Halloween is over. That is where the money is.
Mostly it is because it is a one day celebration not a "season"
You may have better luck finding Vintage Thanksgiving decor on Ebay... OR you could make it yourself. Turkey place mats or table runner... you can make a turkey flower arrangement using a bird of paradise (before it opens all the way) for the head and neck add google eyes and wire glasses and use bright mums and fall colors for the feathers
I have seen "terra cotta pot" people dressed like Pilgrims....and ones made from glass lamp chimneys (just cut out the tops of the hats if you light them.)
Try decorating for "fall" and add the turkeys and Pilgrims that day.

Where are you shopping? Steinmart and Home Goods have the best selection of ready made items, Ross, Marshall's and T J Maxx also have a decent selection. I hardly ever set foot in big box retail stores, so I do not know what they have to offer. How about making some yourself?
try pier1
Try Hobby Lobby for them.
i agree, stores seem to go from Halloween straight to Christmas. They skip right over Thanksgiving!
I agree that Hobby Lobby is a good choice. Also craft fairs for some really nice things people make.
