Kitchen roll and warm iron to melt wax.........
Did you try freezing them...also there is a wax remover product on the market. You could also try really hot water in that spot from the backside of fabric...run a steady stream...not sure what else, just some thoughts
Put old terry towles down, top and bottom, iron to melt the wax. Easy w the heat until you get it melted. Clean remaining w Goo Gone, launder. You can also try pouring boiling water thru the wax area.
First, place in the freezer and scrape as much off as you can. Then place paper towels on the top and bottom of the fabric (like a sandwich) and press on the lowest iron setting as possible until the wax liquifies and is blotted by the paper towels (do not use steam). Repeat until all of the wax is gone.
Just a thought based on experience. Be careful scraping off anything from delicate stretch pants, meaning the kind that are stretchy and skin tight like leggings. I tried scraping of a small dot of paint (which is suppose to work going by what I looked up online) and it made the fabric thinner in that one area Thankfully I stopped and didn't end up with a hole, plus it was very small and the pants had a pattern. I'm sure no one would notice unless they were examining my 72 year old legs. LOL
Thieves and oil should dissolve the wax without chemicals or taking the risk of tearing.
