I just take a soft cotton cloth and dust each leaf, or put in the kitchen sink or bathtub and give it a dust off shower. Let dry and drain and put back.
Gently wipe them off.
If you can do it by hand, take a cotton ball and dip it in a solution of milk and water and clean the leaves with it. Or some people use mayonnaise to clean big leaf plants. Otherwise, if it's a small plant, just take it into the shower and gently spray with water...or take outside on a mild day and gently rinse leaves off with water hose.
I always use plain water applied with a soft cloth. I found that using cleansers caused the plant to be unable to 'breathe' through it's leaves (if that makes sense??).
i use a lite vetable oil and wipe it on and off
Cup of tea with spot of lemon in spry bottle. Spray leaves, gently rub a little with fingers and rinse off with spray bottle of water. Some people use sponges, I'd rather use my fingers.
When I used to give mine a shower, I found it helpful to make a tent of tin foil around the base of the plant so I wasn't overwatering it while the water was running....resulting in unhealthy plant, stains on floor and carpet, etc.
You can also spray the leaves with a hand spray bottle. It’s handy when the plant is large and or difficult to move. Just start from the top and put down something to catch the runoff. If necessary, add a few drops of natural soap, like ‘Meyer’, to improve the cleaning power.
I just wipe the leaves with a damp cloth, tedious, but totally non-toxic
