Brr! Drafty windows- how to cut the draft?

You don’t say what kind of blinds. If they are inexpensive, light filtering mini blinds, nicer wooden blinds....
Plastic mini blinds are fairly cheap. I would use tape to put the piece back on, replace the whole thing (I got brand new ones at a thrift shop) when you have time.
Is there an extra one, on the bottom (that lay on the window sill) that you can take out, and put this in that area? Try it, it may work, best wishes, J.
Judy, are you referring to the bottom one, if they are horizontal blinds????The slat that needs the fixing is on a vertical blinds.
Hi Judy, thanks for answering. The blinds are vertical. I was reading your response and it sounds like you thought the blinds were horizontal. Am I correct?
